STAR TREK: DISCOVERY

Star Trek: Discovery proudly brought the iconic franchise back to television after a 12-year absence. It went on to become one of the most cinematic, action-packed, diverse Star Trek series to date.

Puzzling Questions

Discovery’s fifth and final season featured a thrilling treasure hunt that kicked off with a mysterious alien puzzle box. We followed that hook in our social strategy with a video where talent tried to solve an actual puzzle box while we interviewed them about life’s puzzling questions, no matter how small (“Did you ever make pew-pew-pew noises on set?”) or big (“What do you think is the meaning of life?”).

A Tribute to Sonequa

In the role of Michael Burnham, Sonequa Martin-Green was the first Black woman to anchor a live action Star Trek series as its captain. To celebrate her performance and indelible impact, we surprised her with an emotional tribute from previous Star Trek cast members who praised Martin-Green’s contribution to the world.

Cast Reacts

The series featured multiple landmark achievements, including Star Trek’s first gay couple, first non-binary character (and actor), and first trans character. To celebrate Star Trek: Discovery’s legacy of inclusivity, we revisited a few of these significant scenes with the cast to give them an opportunity to reflect on their experience with the show.
