STAR TREK:
STRANGE NEW WORLDS
How many genres can you explore in one series? A major part of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ appeal is its ability to deftly maneuver between horror, comedy, courtroom drama, and even a musical episode. Naturally, the social content had to be equally nimble.
Travel Posters
These travel posters by the phenomenal Paramount+ design team highlight the fascinating locations featured throughout each season. I selected each location, wrote copy, and gave initial creative direction for each graphic. Along the way, the design team and I collaborated to adjust elements as necessary before finalizing each asset with stakeholders.
Warp Round
For the Lower Decks crossover episode, I pitched a superlatives-style concept where I asked who was most likely to fit a certain description–most likely to be on their phone, to have written Star Trek fan fiction, etc.–and talent would write their answers down before revealing them. I sat down with the cast to interview them for this segment, leading to one of my favorite videos.
Subspace Rhapsody
Strange New Worlds presented Star Trek’s first ever musical episode, a landmark event with stellar performances from the entire cast. Among our social content for the episode, we created two lyric videos with animated text to highlight the episode’s musical numbers. These videos went on to win multiple awards, including a GEMA gold medal for Global Excellence.
