LOONEY TUNES

As a beloved brand and animation classic, Looney Tunes serves content directly to fans several days a week with regular Facebook posts. For over three years, I collaborated with designers to create graphics and I wrote social copy that engaged followers. Our primary strategy was to tap into nostalgia for the original Merrie Melodies shorts and reference relevant social trends in organic ways.

Facebook content needed to cater to audiences of all ages, capturing the unique voices and attitudes of the individual characters. In any given week, I channeled Bugs Bunny’s Groucho Marx-inspired wisecracks, Daffy Duck’s egomania, Foghorn Leghorn’s Southern charm, and more.

The Looney Tunes are a rowdy bunch of coworkers, but once you accept the fact that Taz will eat your lunch sooner or later, it’s one of the best gigs in social media.
